Sevilla 2006 | | The team of Roda JC from Kerkrade, the Netherlands uses the figures of the typeface Bauhaus for its shirt numbers. This choice might be inspired by Real Madrid, but the numbers were not squeezed. As a consequence the heigth is limited to about 21 cm.
Furthermore, Roda uses the heavy weight of the typeface. The counters in 2, 4, 6, 8, 9 and 0 are very small. The Roda JC shirts are a good example to work out how overweight can limit legibility (see weight). | |  | |
