Quick is a legendary sports company from the Netherlands. The company was officialy registered in 1905 as a shoe-developer. It was very popular in the 1960's; I remember being very proud of my Quick football shoes. But in 1986 the company went bankrupt and in 1992 it closed its doors.
The brand revived in 2001 and nowadays two professional Dutch teams are playing in Quick apparels: NAC (Breda) and Vitesse (Arnhem). Both NAC and Vitesse have the same numbers on their yellow and black shirts. The typeface has serifs, but they are very short. And the numbers have a subtle contrast between thick and thin strokes. These are legible shirt numbers. I can't find the exact typeface that is used. It is related to Friz Quadrata, but obviously the tails of 6 and 9 have a bigger curl.
