Introduction | Bayern München (München, Germany) has got new shirts for the season 2005-2006. On the back it carries the name of the team above and the name of the player underneath the number. The team's name is printed in a condensed Gothic typeface; for the numbers and player's names a special font is used that is a look alike of Neville Brody's typeface Industria. Some characters are altered a bit (like 3 and K) and the whole typeface is made wider, but I really wonder why they didn't take the original. You may like or dislike the typeface Industria, but for sure Neville Brody did think about it and spend a lot of work to make the font. The Bayern typeface is a lazy copy and paste product. | |||||
